The Buffalo Sabres Junior sled hockey team shut down the Hamilton Sledgehammers on Saturday, Feb. 13, in a rare home game at Buffalo State College by an impressive score of 4-0.

Tyler Ball got things rolling with a quick goal in the first period; Jeremy Fuller kept things going with another tally in the second, Matt Murray scored as a result of some nice moves around the goal, and rounding out the scoring for the Sabres was Zach Leroy.  Pierce Dunne also had an exciting day when he recorded yet another shutout.

The Sabres kept things going on Sunday when they overpowered the Whitby Steel hawks in Ontario, winning 5-0. Nick Walker led the way, with two first period goals, including his first of the season. Tyler Ball kept his goal streak alive with two more against the Steelhawks. Nathan Bryant also racked up a goal for Buffalo; Pierce Dunne got another shutout but was not very busy due to the stellar play of his defensive teammates.
